Hello, my A/C keeps coming and going, sort of. When I got it there was no belt on it. I put a belt on it then it worked sort of. It was kind of cool. Then I added 134 refrigerant. It worked well for a brief period of time. Now it will not work at all. The condenser clicks on, the clutch engages. Could it be electrical and why?

Good morning.

You would need to start with a pressure test in the A/C system. You would need a set of gauges to be sure there is sufficient pressure for the compressor to work. If there is not, the pressure switches will not allow the compressor to run.

What concerns me is the belt off. It sounds like they removed it for a reason like the compressor locking up.
