A/C not cooling, error code 1426

Hi,

Recently my car A/C is not cooling, there is no leaking, gas is full, checked for errors found error 1426, I deleted the error but still not cooling, again the same error show up every time I erase it, so please help, thanks

Hi,

The code doesn't seem related to the A/C. It is related to the fuel tank vent valve being stuck open.

As far as the A/C, check to see if there is power to the compressor clutch. The clutch itself may have failed. Also, are you certain the Freon is full? Low pressure will prevent it from turning on as well.

Happy to help. I will watch for your reply. Also, if it is possible, check the static pressure of the system and let me know what it is. Static pressure is when everything is off. If you can, let me know both the high and low-pressure readings.
