AC compressor clutch

I put Freon in my AC compressor it cycled a couple times and then just wouldn’t cycle anymore I’ve had it overcharged and took some of the pressure off and did it again and it cycled a few times and then wouldn’t cycle anymore. Is there some sen AC compressor clutching so that’s going bad or what do you think the problem is?

Good afternoon,

You need to get a set of gauges and give me the high and low side readings of the system while running.

You can rent a set or buy a cheap set at Harbor Freight.

I need those readings to help you.
