I changed the blend door actuator thinking it was the problem but it wasn’t it’s still doing the same thing. What could be the problem?

Hi,

If the vehicle has dual climate control, it will have two different blend door actuators. Are you certain you got the correct one?

If you look at the directions below, they are specific for the replacement of the actuator for the left side (driver's side). Take a look through them and let me know if you got the correct one. If you did, I need you to remove it from the HVAC box and see if it moves when you change from heat to cold.

Here is a link you may find helpful as well:

Let me know what you find,

When I change it from A/C to like defrost or to floor it works. And it does have dual auto climate control.

Hi,

If you are able to change the airflow direction, then we know the mode door actuator is working. If you look at the attached pic above, is that the air temperature (blend) actuator that was replaced? I'm asking because there are two. I just want to confirm the correct one was replaced.

Let me know.

Joe
