The car have ac and heater but when I turn it on it stay in the windshield it doesn't change to any other place of the car what can that be

The mode actuator isn't working redirecting the air for youit can be the actuator, the link has fallen off or broken or it may be a broken cable leading form the control unit. This is off a protégé as you didn't give a model of car and if yours has auto temp control then this pic is wrong.
