Can you clarify what is happening when you say it won't take a charge? Do you mean you can't get Freon in it or when you charged the system the compressor still wont come on?

When you pulled it into a vacuum how long did it hold it? It should hold the vacuum for about an hour. It is not necessary to hold it that long but a sealed system will hold it for a while.

Let me know this info and we can figure this out. Thanks

Okay. Lets start with the system pressures. Do you have a gauge set? If not, you can rent them from a parts store that has a tool rental program. Let's hook up the gauges and just get the pressures. If the system is low then that is most likely the reason for it not coming on. If the system is not low then we can look into power control issues to the compressor.

Is it possible A/C compressor is not working? I bypassed A/C compressor and it did not want to suck the Freon from a container.

Just to clarify, you jumped power to the compressor and it did not engage the clutch? If that is the case then yes. I understood that you did jump it and the compressor came on. Let me know this and we can figure this out. Thanks

Clutch on compressor engage after bypass but compressor did not take any Freon, so is A/C compressor bad? Or is there high low pressure switch malfunctioning? What pressure high low pressure switch activates?

This could be the issue but I want to circle back and address when you said your low side is currently 85 PSI. If this is true, then your system is way to full. You will need to pull it back down into a vacuum and refill it. The low side should be around 30 PSI depending ambient temp. Take a look at the chart of pressures I attached.

Unfortunately they don't list this minimum amount to get the compressor to come on. They just say the switch will open if it is too low or too high.

Have you evac and recharged the system again and held a vacuum for 25 minutes? Then charge the system with the proper amount? How much did you put in last time?
