Scan tool reads C1237 and C1513. I just replaced the ABS wheel speed sensor (right rear) based on my chat gpt recommendation and cleared codes with my scan tool. ABS and ESC Off lights came back on. What should I do next? BTW, the lights aren't always on when I start the vehicle, but they both come on after about a hundred yards usually at the same time if that matters. There is little difference in how it drives after the lights come on. I haven't driven high speeds but at 25-35 MPH, I have had no issues with braking.

So you might have two problems, one is the bearing hub on the right rear is out which will cause the reluctor wheel not to line up with the sensor so I would check that, you can remove the sensor and look down the hole to check alignment and a shorted connection inside the steering angle sensor that can cause this problem so you will need to test. Also, it can be the ESC module itself (rare).

C1237 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Fault (Usually Rear-Right)
C1513 - Steering Angle Sensor Malfunction

You can use this guide to test through the wiring or try to replace the steering angle sensor and then clear the codes. Here is a guide to help and the ABS system wiring diagrams as well:

Bearing hub doesn't show any play and what I believe to be the reluctor wheel seems aligned when spun.

Okay, we can rule the hub being bad. I would test the wiring though the steering wheel angle sensor and if okay replace the ABS control module. Thanks for the video and images.

Is the ABS control module integrated with the ESC module? Are they the same? I have a multimeter but mi not comfortable ripping the column apart. I pulled the esc connector, but I didn't want to mess with the wrapping an potentially damage the wiring. Would it be best to purchase the ABS control module and have a real mechanic install it or just have them finish diagnosis first?

Yes the module is the ECS, if you don't feel comfortable take the car in for repairs, at least you know what's going on with the system and what it will take to fix it.
