Hello,

The ABS light gets illuminated when the on-board diagnostics detects issue(s) within the ABS system. It could be a wheel sensor to a module or wiring issues. ABS will also trigger the traction control light as when the ABS malfunctions the traction control does not work.

Best course of action would be to have the vehicle scanned for ABS codes. This can help with the diagnostics and can point to why the light might be illuminated.
