Can I get an A/C wiring diagram?

My A/C isn’t working and I found a red electrical connector, (I believe it’s the cut out switch) but the connector from the harness is missing. I’m looking for a wiring diagram so I can wire the plug back into the harness so I can connect it to the switch to get the ac to work again. The engine was replaced and I assume the wires got ripped out of the harness.

Can you get a couple pictures of the connector and how many wires, what color are the wires?

Here are pictures of the switch and the connector, although in my truck the switch is red, this purple one is the same female shape. The new connector just has two white wires, and I’m trying to figure out what wires within the wiring harness I need to connect them to. Looking at the diagram I think the switch is the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor, but there are 3 wires going to that (red/black, grey, and black.) This is where I’m confused. I’ll look into that link and see what I can figure out.

Perfect. That is what we needed. If you have 2 wires then this is the lower pressure sensor. This attachment below is what you need to determine which terminal is which.

However, if you have 3 wires then this is the pressure sensor not the cut off/low pressure switch.

Take a look at both attachments and you will be able to determine which wire goes in each position. However, you are going to need to find this connector as it is different then the one you pictured above.

Unfortunately, I’m still a little confused. In the wiring diagram you sent me before, it shows the low pressure switch as being on the accumulator. The switch I’m trying to connect to is mounted in the rear of the compressor, and it looks exactly like the pictures I sent yesterday. I’m starting to wonder if this switch is not actually essential for the compressor to work. I looked at the diagram a while and can understand how it all works. Without the switch I’m referring to. I’m still curious as to what this switch is for though. On the maps website it calls it the high pressure cutout switch, and exactly resembles the switch in the compressor on the truck that currently has nothing plugged into it, and no connector to be found. I’m going to test the 3 wire connector (A/C pressure sensor), and the 2 wire connector (low pressure switch). I remember seeing a red/black wire that was not connected so I will try to repair that now knowing that it is for the 3 wire connector. Furthermore I am curious to know the purpose of the red switch in the back of the compressor. Maybe the compressor came out of a Chevrolet of a different year? Thank you for all the help, I certainly have gained a better understanding of this electrical system.

Yeah. I think we are dealing with a possible different compressor. Can you get pictures of these parts that you are seeing?

If you have a two wire connector on the back of the compressor that should be the power and ground for the clutch.

Let's get some pictures and see if anything is obvious and go from there. Thanks

I am attaching the compressor circuit and the entire A/C system diagrams. They are going to be the same in most all cases as these are just rebadged vehicle.
