I put a Walmart stereo in my car and right after my A/C will not work correctly. I cannot control it and it will not display anything, it is almost like it is stuck in the auto mode. I have brought it to Carey's electronics where I live and they told me that it is not an ECU problem and suggested unplug it and then plug it back in. I did it and it still did no do anything. I was thinking that the A/C box that has the controls and display is broken but I cannot tell. Does anyone have a same problem with this and/or know how to fix it?

Good morning.

Did you have to tie into any wires other than the connector for the radio that you removed?

Does the panel light up?

Asemaster6371.

Yes, I had to get an adapter for it and I wired everything with the help from a friend who installs them. All of the wires are correct on it. The panel does not light up, even if I put the stock stereo back in, that is why I think it is broke, but I am only 16 and I am only a beginner mechanic.

Okay first, check all your fuses with a test light to be sure there is power going through them.

I attached a wire diagram. Check the fuses in the inside fuse block listed.
