A/c must have a leak it won't hold a charge for more than 2 days. I got some stop leak and a can of 134a to try and charge it up again. Would it help me to activate the pressure switch with a jumper wire prior to charging the system?

You can do it like that but the stop leak may just clog up your orfice and screen. It's best to get it leak tested see if it's an oring or seal on compressor. Then it would be fixed correctly even if you do it. If it's a hole in condenser or evaporator nothing like that will help
