How often should a condenser be replaced?

The receiver drier is part of the condenser in my car. How much oil needs to be added for a condenser?

This part should be replaced when replacing the A/C compressor. here are the instructions on how to do the job and to help walk you through the steps in the images below. You will need to vacuum down and recharge the system.
