Hello, I have got an A/C compressor that I think is still good but the bearing went out In my truck. I've got the cover plate pulled off and the split ring removed but I'm having trouble getting the bearing out. I think it's road dirt, debris, etc. But I don't have that much room to get it out. Any suggestions?
Thanks

What usually happens is the hub will get damaged because the bearing will lock up and will wear a groove into the hub and gall it up. Sometimes if the damage is not that bad you can walk it off with two screw drivers carefully, but sometimes the damage done by the bearing will be too much and you’ll have to replace the compressor. Hopefully yours is not too bad.
