A/C blows hot air when outside temperature goes above seventy five degrees

When the temperature outside is under 75 degrees the A/C runs perfectly, nice and cold.
As soon as the outdoor temperature goes above that the A/C blows out only really hot air and I can hear the compressor turning on but it shuts back off.

Good morning.

Do you have a set of gauges to monitor the high and low side of the system?

Good possibility it has to do with the pressures but need to see them so we can further help you.
