98 Cutlass not starting, happened out of nowhere, replaced cylinder heads still not working

My 98 Cutlass is in perfect condition - never had any indication something was wrong. New oil, over half a tank of gas, new battery, new belt. EVERYTHING! Out of nowhere, as I'm waiting at a red light, my car just shuts off. No lights on to indicate an issue or sounds, nothing! As it happens, the car obviously wouldn't start back up and I got towed.

We have a neighbor who is "mechanically inclined" looked at my car and stated it was undoubtedly the cylinder heads - now I've spent WELL over 1G$ to have my boyfriend and a couple of friends replace this. As they finally got the whole motor back together, new fluids in and everything replaced brand new, the car will still not start. It sounds the same as the day it shut off and how it sounded when I tried to turn it over.

We're at a loss right now and looking up forums for this exact issue I find is nonexistent - we've tried everything it seems and I'd really appreciate some help!

You gotta do the basics first scan for codes and check fuel pressure. You probably spent money you didn't need to

I'm a diesel mechanic and it sounds like your fuel pump is bad, to check this out open your gas tank cover and remove cap have a friend turn key to on position while you put your ear to gas fill hole, you should hear a humming indicating that the pump is working, even though you might still hear it but it's not strong enough to do it's job.
