Will not start

Rv 7.4l 454 on a p30 chassis. Yesterday I replaced my water pump, when I got it all put back together I went to start it and with the key in the on position the dash turned on and all accessories. But when I try to start it nothing happens have a good bat good alternator, good starter. But if I jump the solenoid across with the key in the on position it will fire up and run fine.

Hello,

It sounds like the neutral safety switch has gone bad. Here are a couple guides to get you started int he right direction:
