No spark

Last week I pulled in to driveway and it just shut off as if I had turned it off. But I didn't turn it off. It has absolutely no spark at all from the coil. I replaced the coil and it still has no spark.
I have check that the coil has power to it. So then I figure it was probably the ignition Module was bad so I tested it and it and made sure that the coil is receiving the activate signal from the ignition Module. The (on off on off signal) tells the coil to turn on.
And guess what it tested just fine too. So I'm completely stumped. I'm hoping someone can thank of something that I'm missing because it has me very confused and I'm getting very aggravated with it.
Please someone help!

Hi,

Do you hear the fuel pump turn on? Do me a favor. I need you to check the EEC relay. It's located at the lower section of the cowl (right side) near the engine control assembly. I attached a pic.

If you have another relay with the same part number, switch them to see if it makes a difference. If not, here is a link that explains how to check a relay.

Let me know.

Yes, I can hear the fuel pump.
Like I said in my post it definitely doesn't have any spark. I will check the relay and let you know what I find.
Thank you very much.

Question, can the EEC cause the engine to only lose spark? Because I know for sure that the fuel pump is running sending fuel to injectioner
I will still check relay you have referenced to. Just wanted to ask that question to make sure we are both on the same page. Thank you

I checked the relay at EEC and it is working. Is there anything else other then coil and ignition Module that will cause it to only lose spark?
The fuel system is fine. It's getting fuel just no spark to light the fuel.

I just thought of something I maybe doing the test wrong for ignition Module. When I test the signal wire that activates the coil using a test light I connect the alligator clamp to positive side of battery then use the prob to touch the terminal on coil that activates the coil the light should flash when try to start engine . Now my question. Should the light stay on steady when I'm not starting the engine ?
Basically with the switch in run position and not turning over the engine should test light be steady on or off ? Mine is steady on then when I turn over engine the light flashes
Is that right or wrong ?

Here is a link that explains how to test for spark:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-an-ignition-system

As far as the EEC, it would have turned both off. That's why I asked about the fuel pump.

Because of the model year, I have very limited info as far as wiring schematics. The only other thing I can think of is a pic up coil in the distributor. Ford refers to it as a profile ignition pickup (pip). It is in the distributor. Have you done anything with that? I attached a pic. It is referred to as a hall effect sensor.

Let me know.
