I have to put it in neutral and back up and then back in drive swerving-like to get it to kick off. I want to unplug it for now. Where will I find the plug to do this?

Good morning,

This sounds like the hubs are engaging in the front wheels.

How long since you have the bearings serviced on the front hubs?

The easiest way to disable the four wheel drive is to disconnect an ABS sensor. That will disable the system but you will have the ABS light on.

Two to three months ago. Will unhooking the ABS disable the 4wd?
