I bought the vehicle listed above a few days ago. The same day I tried out the 4x4 and it got stuck. At first, I thought it was just the transmission needing a fluid change. Clearly not the case I tried the whole resting the computer but that didn’t work now it’s kicking itself out of drive and into neutral and not going into any other gear unless I unhook the battery again.

When you put it in gear, and it shifts to neutral is there any message or warning light?

Also, do you have the transfer case shifter in 2WD, A4WD, or Low?

Try putting the shifter in neutral and then move the switch from where it is to 2WD and see if the vehicle will remove from 4WD.

Also, is there any way you can get the vehicle to move, or does it not move at all?

We should try and lift all four tires off the ground and see if you can get movement when there is no load on the drivetrain.

Please see the details below on the different gear ranges and the operation which is good info on how it works.

Please run through this and let me know what you find with this, and we can go from there.

Thanks
