The service 4-wheel drive light came on and then the all-wheel drive, 4-wheel drive would not engage and the knob that has to be turned to engage 4x4 had no light on it, is there a plug/connector on the transfer case?

Hi,

There is a connector at the transfer case, but we need to check a couple of fuses first.

I attached the wiring schematic for the circuit below. I had to cut it in half to make it readable for you, but I did overlap the two so you can follow from one to the next.

In the under-hood fuse box, I need you to check the ignition E fuse and the ATC fuse. When checking these, it is important to not only check the fuse but also check if there is power to and from them.

Here is a link that you may find helpful:

Do this and let me know the results.

Take care,

Joe
