Background:

Hi. I am actually building a new Factory Five Racing Roadster (Cobra) Mk5. I have sourced a Ford 302 Engine Block. The serial number says it is a 1968 manufactured on Valentine's Day.

I have watcher your Ford 302 Rebuild to a 347 Stroker 10-part series, and I am planning to follow the entire video. I am using the parts lists from each section as I work, so all my parts may come from Summit Racing.

I have completed parts 1 and 2. I have sourced a machine shop that provides services to racing teams, so they know what they are doing. They will be verifying the block is still goog, boring, honing, clearancing, and dipping the block for us.

Your Part 3 Video shows the following crankshaft:

When I navigate to the Summit site, it says that crank is not available. Can you help me choose whether there is another forged, internally balanced crankshaft that would work with the camshaft, pistons and push rods you selected for your engine?

Note: I subscribed to your channel a few months ago. I have definitely found your instructions helpful. I hope I can continue following your instructions. Great videos!!!

Eagle has that crank available directly through them. Summit just doesn't have it in stock.
