Antifreeze Type

One last thing about antifreeze, I had to do a flush on my focus 2012 there is all kinds out there, is it really necessary to use motorcraft coolant?Or can I also use the preston the one that says all makes and models? I heard color doesn't really matter just as long its OAT?
