I am getting a P106, P108 Error code indicating that the MAP sensor has an issue. I recently bought this car, and it seems after the seller got the engine bay cleaned at car wash, he said the codes came on. Maybe it's wet, so I want to change it out. However, I cannot see where the location for it is and not getting much headway browsing the internet. I did see the MAF sensor though, but I don't know if this car listed above, Ford Escape does not come with it. Please assist. Thanks.

Hello,

The manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor is located on the front part of the engine.
I have attached the diagrams showing the location and replacement procedure.

Keep in mind that it is possible that the sensor got water in the connector and caused the engine light to come on. So be sure to clean the connector first and see if that fixes the issue.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
