One of my rear lights regularly switches off when I drive over bumps. A swift bang with the side of my hand makes the light come back on. The dash warning light indicates a dead bulb - and it goes out when I 'fix' the issue with my fist !
I've removed the plastic bulb housing but can't see anything which appears to be loose. I've also noticed that there are actually two bulbs which go out in the same housing, suggesting it's not a faulty bulb.
Would anyone know what specifically might be causing this please?
Thank you.

The bulb socket is loosing connection, try to remove the bulb in question and inspect the contacts the bulb uses to operate, this article has some good info, check it out and get back to me. Thanks for using 2Carpros.com
