About 3 weeks ago, my wife noticed that the AC was getting warmer and warmer over a span of three days before it completely went out. I came to the conclusion that the system was low on freon and I charged it. It seemed to do the trick but now I'm having a couple of issues:

1. Ice cold air only comes out on the passenger side and cabin vents
2. This air (passenger/cabin), does not change in temperature until temp setting is maxed out at 86 degrees
3. The air coming out on the drivers side is luke warm at idle and will cool down some during acceleration but will warm back up after being idle.
4. The drivers side air will not gradually get warmer (the same as passenger/cabin) as the temp control setting is increased but will become hot once maxed out at 86 degrees.

I looked at the actuator doors on both sides and they seem to be moving as I play around with increasing/decreasing the temperature control.

What am I missing?

Thanks

Based on the symptoms you described, it appears that there may be an issue with the HVAC system in your 2010 Honda Odyssey. Here are a few possibilities for the problems you're experiencing:

Blend Door Actuator: The blend door actuator controls the airflow and temperature distribution inside the vehicle. If the actuator on the driver's side is malfunctioning or stuck, it may be responsible for the inconsistent temperature on that side. Although you mentioned that the actuator doors seem to be moving, there could still be an issue with the actuator itself or its connection to the blend door.

Heater Core Blockage: A blockage or restriction in the heater core can cause uneven heating or cooling. If the heater core is partially blocked, it may result in the driver's side receiving insufficient hot coolant, leading to lukewarm air at idle and cooler air during acceleration. This blockage could be due to debris or sediment buildup.

Refrigerant Leak: While you mentioned that you charged the system, it's possible that there is still a refrigerant leak. If the refrigerant level is low, it can cause inconsistent cooling on different sides of the vehicle. You may want to consider checking out this guide
