It sat for a few months, I try to start it and there’s a no crank no start issue.I had the battery out on a charger so the battery is good. I saw corrosion on some ground wires that I cleaned. I checked the starter it’s okay. The key fob works to unlock and lock the doors. I noticed when I go to start it the security light flashes.

Hello,

This sounds like the starter is having problems or the battery needs to be load tested these guides can help us fix it.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/starter-not-working-repair

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-battery-load-test

Please run down these guides and report back. In the diagrams down below I have include Ford factory diagnostic troubleshooting pinpoint test H which deals with No Start (Due to Passive Anti Theft System (PATS). It will require the use of a scan tool with the ability to read PIDS. Please go through this guide and get back to us with what direction the guide leads you towards and we will go from there.

Thanks,
Alex

I never got it running yet, I’ve been recovering from surgery and I’m waiting to heal up. But I’m determined to get it running, if you have any luck with your van let me know, and I’ll do the same, thanks for reaching out.

Just to make sure we are not jumping past what Alex pointed to, the security light flashing indicates an active security issue which will cause a no crank, no start.

Have you been able to scan for codes to see what is there?

Sounds like the vehicle is in an active theft situation. I attached the process on how to reset the system. I would suggest we give this a shot and see what happens.
