2010 Chevrolet Malibu My car wont start

Our change oil soon light came on and it is down to 1%. My husband drove the car a mile 1/2 today and the car died it will not start. Will the oil needing to be changed keep the car from starting?

the light has no effect on the stalling. It is a timed light according to miles. You have another issue causing the problem. Have the fuel pressure checked as it may be a failing fuel pump.
