Electrical problem 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 98000 miles

I need instructions on replacing the alternator belt on my suzuki. The belt shredded and came off, my son-in-law tried to put the new one on but didn't know how. I am a widow on a fixed income so I hope one of your members can help me.
