I have the truck listed above 1500 v8 4.7L with approximately 250,000 miles on it. The A/C went out on it so I decided to just re do the whole system the compressor, condenser, evaporator, accumulator, and the orifice tube line. I pulled a vacuum on it; it held very good no leaks I recharged it to its factory charge, but the A/C isn’t blowing cold it’s blowing around 70°F I would like to get it colder. Any help?

The low side was around 40 PSI, and the high side was around 250 PSI.

Perfect, isn't the return line at the firewall to the compressor cold? If so, then the problem is the temperature blend door actuator is not working correctly. Here is the location so I can help you check it out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
