I would like to upgrade my exhaust system to give my truck a little more power and make it a little louder. But exhaust is one thing I do not know much about. I have looked at the cherry bomb glass packs but again I do not know what would be best. Any recommendations would be really appreciated

If you are only replacing the muffler, that is fine to do. However, do not eliminate the catalytic converter. We only recommend direct fit parts, so this is a little out of my league. As far as brands, however, I know flow master is a good one.

Let me know if you have any specific questions. Also, just changing the muffler will not increased horsepower.

When working with the exhaust, you want to open things up so the engine can breath easier. Most people will use a free flow muffler and actually larger diameter pipe. However, you must keep the emission components in place.
