what is the meaning of a red circle light blinking on the speedometer after the car is switched off ?

today i noticed a small circle red light blinking on the speedometer after i switched off the car. could anyone tell me what exactly it is ??

If it is a small red dot, that should be the security system warning indicator.

When security systme is armed, it would blink so we can say it should normally be this way with vehicle locked.
