During brake service, I removed the brake rotors to be machined. These rotors do not come off easily like most. The wheel speed sensor is pressed onto the unit bearing, like a wheel seal. I tried to remove the sensor vs. Un-plugging the sensor and taking it out with the unit bearing. This was not a good idea and now my ABS light is on.I put an ohm meter on both the LH and RH sides and the RF is open. I located the sensor locally at a Napa auto parts for about $60.I would like to not screw up the new part
and would appreciate the proper method to R/R.
The truck is a 2 whl. Drive -4 cyl. A/T -it is a LT model-ext. Cab

Mr Fixit. The sensor on my vehicle is not bolted on.I have replaced VSS before, not like this. It appears to be a press fit like a wheel seal.

Link dont work for actual part. It's an external fit right? You can see lip edge to remove? Like I said I just tapped it off with screwdriver working my way around diameter. But was on a car bearing not truck have not done 1 on truck bearing.
