I hit a small curb that pushed up the radiator frame braking it. It also caused the car to stop running at the same time. It eventually started after disconnecting the battery for a while. I replaced the radiator frame and know the car will not start. I used an obd2 tester and no codes are present. I have has at the check valve and I am unsure if there is spark. I have good compression and all of the sensors have been replaced in the last couple of days trying to fix it.

Hi,

The first thing to check is if there is spark. The easiest way to do it is to see if it starts for a couple of seconds using starting fluid. If it does, then we know it is a fuel issue. If it doesn't try to start, then it is likely ignition related.

Here is a link that shows in general how to check for spark. I recommend doing this.

Additionally, here is a link focused on a crank no start condition. Take a look through it and see if anything helps.

Also, you indicated the replacement of several sensors. Was the crankshaft position sensor replaced? Have you checked to see if anything is disconnected on it?

If you have a live data scan tool, see if there is an RPM signal when cranking the engine. If there is none, then we need to check the crankshaft position sensor.

Let me know.

Thank you for the help, Joe. I have spark and I thought I had fuel but, there is very little fuel getting to the fuel pump. Is there a fuel cut off for this car? I did not have any fuel issues before the accident. I should mention that the accident was very minor. In replacing parts, I changed the cup in the fuel pump that rides against the cam. The old one was worn completely through but did not scar the cam. It seems like the fuel pump is not working properly but, there were no issues before.

Hi,

You have a transfer pump and a high-pressure pump. Is there constant fuel from the fuel tank?

It has a fuel pump shut down in the event of an accident. It is at the fuel pump control module. See pic 1.

If that is kicked, the in tank pump will not operate.

Let me know.

So the fuel pump is working and the car will start and run with a little starting fluid. Once it starts it will restart and seems to run fine for about an hour then shuts off again without starting. It is giving a p0089 code now. I replaced the sensor on the HP fuel pump along with the MAF sensor and air temperature intake sensor. The only sensors left are the crank and cam but I seem to have good spark.

Hi,

That seems to make sense. The code is related to the fuel pressure sensor. Take a look at pic 1. It shows the variances. If it is out of range, then you need to check at the sensor. Here are those directions. The attached pics correlate with the directions.
