Check engine light on, code is p1652. What does this means? The vehicle will not give a continuous rev above 2,500 rpm. While driving the vehicle whenever you reach 2,500 rpm the vehicle stutters and cut its speed until you take your foot off the acceleration pedal.

Hey EDDIEBAT,

This is a code for the cooling fan operation. Here is a diagram and guide to help you get the problem fixed. There is a couple of relays and check the fuses.

and

Please run some tests and get back to us.

Best, Ken

Hi Ken,
I have the same issue with my Nissan Tiida 2007 hatchback car. Would you recommend to try this solution? Do I need to do the relay check after changing the radiator cooling fan motor?

Cheers,
Thenna

Hi Thenna,

Sorry for the delay. If you turn your air conditioner on do the radiator fans come on within one minute?

Please report back.

Cheers, Ken

Hi Thenna,

Okay, it seems this code definition changes. I found more information that is saying the throttle actuator is causing the issue. I have seen a throttle actuator bore cleaning solve this issue.

and

Please run down these guides and report back.

Cheers, Ken

There seems to be many different opinions on what this codes mean on this car. P1652 doesn't have a consistent definition across Nissan's global models:
might be tied to:

Starter relay feedback (common in U.S. Models)

Throttle body protection logic (limp mode)

Intelligent Power Distribution Module (IPDM) internal fault

Torque management system or CAN bus error on Euro models

Does this car have the CVT transmission? Some do some don't that is why I ask, if so the when the transmission starts to go out it will act like this, have you changes the fluid and used Genuine Nissan CVT NS-2 only? If you use any other fluid the transmission will not work correctly.

It also has one code u1000.
I've cleaned the solenoid,
Intake body. Mass airflow sensor. Almost anything I could see I've cleaned it with a contact cleaner. I did a reset with obd2 after the cleaning and checking for wiring and it's all good now.
Just left with one code u1000.
