Good morning,

Did it do this prior to the repair?

Why did you replace the fuel pump?

Is the theft or security light on when it starts?

It worked fine before I did the repair. I replaced the fuel pump because the float wasn't working. My gas gauge wouldn't read only like that comes on as a check engine light but it's on when you turn the key but but did not start the car.

Okay, then you need to test the fuel pressure to be sure the pump is good.

Yes, it is very possible. It happens more than you know.

As long as you do not buy a Carter fuel pump, you are good.

Okay, did you do the reset procedure I sent you for the key?

If you had the battery cable off, the key may have forgotten the password.
