The vehicle listed above is the Turbo charged Touring model. I had to have the shaft axle CBC joint was going bad. Ever since then my car will not shift out of third and it's automatic it drove and shifted great until the replacement of axle and brakes.

Clearly if this did not happen prior to the axle being replaced, then we have to assume it is related to this so I would suggest taking it back to who replaced this.

However, the likely cause of this is most likely either a fluid issue or there is a code that is causing the transmission to be in limp mode.

Here are a couple guides that will help with this:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/reduced-power-limp-mode

The best course of action is to take it back to who did this but if that is not an option then we need to check for codes and see what is there.

Let's start with this and go from there.

Thanks

I took to AutoZone how I knew to do spark plugs and wires or had done look. Being female it's hard enough so Kenny k are you saying too much transmission fluid can cause this. Because they k I drove it to work just very slow would not shift out of third then went to lunch tried to put in drive was not going anywhere. Where is the drain plug, I just drain it and start over put new fluid in it. Thank you

Okay, if there are no codes then I would start with checking the fluid. You can do this with the dipstick as shown below.

Below is the process from the manual which will help as well. Let me know what you find with the fluid, and we can go from there.
