2006 Suzuki Liana Over Heating

Its 2006 liana. When engine temperature goes upward from center position at temp. Gauge, check engine light began to flicker and engine loosing power and finally stop !
After cool down its okay. Why it done whereas engine temperature has normal.

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a guage auto parts rent them
