New tranny or sensors

Hello. I have a 2006 pontiac g6 gtp. The other day when I went to pull out in drive the car wouldnt move it just reved. Now when I put the car in manumatic it will go but slips in 1st. Also if I am going about 45mph I can switch out of manumatic to drive and it drives normally until I come to a stop. Any advice would greatly b appreciated as I dont have much $ at the time to get it checked out. Thank u

Make sure the fluid is full, I don't remember is you have a dipstick on this car though, if fluid is brown there is maybe a problem and a trans guy could tell you, but from the slipping you describe it doesn't sound very good.
