DANGER:

Danger from Xenon headlamp high voltage
Do not touch parts which conduct high voltages. Persons with active electronic implants (e.G. Heart pacemakers) should never work on xenon headlamps.
1 Disconnect ground cable of battery
2 Remove cover (5) on xenon headlamp
3 Rotate and remove Xenon headlamp ignition module (E1n2, E2n2) on Xenon headlamp
NOTE: Do not break off latching lugs. Electrical connector (4) is automatically unplugged.

4 Turn and remove retaining collar (2)
NOTE: Do not break off latching lugs.

5 Remove gas discharge lamp (1)
NOTE: Do not touch the gas discharge lamp (1) with your bare fingers but use a grease-free, soft cloth

6 Check power supply contact points for corrosion
NOTE: If necessary, replace corroded part.

7 Insert gas discharge lamp(1) into Xenon headlamp and hold in place
Ensure that they are installed in the correct position (notch).
NOTE: Do not touch the gas discharge lamp (1) with your bare fingers but use a grease-free, soft cloth

8 Put on retaining collar (2) and rotate
NOTE: Note inscription "Top" on the retaining collar (2).

9 Mount Xenon headlamp ignition module (E1n2, E2n2) and rotate
NOTE: Installation position must be noted.

10 Connect electrical connector (4)
11 Fit cover (5) to Xenon headlamp
NOTE: Check seal in cover (5) for signs of damage and wear, if necessary fit a new seal to the cover (5).

12 Reconnect ground lead to battery
13 Carry out function check
