2006 Honda Civic check system fault

My Honda Civic Euro 2006 has this problem of popping out "Check System" indicator on its Multi task display after giving it a hard acceleration or high Rev during travelling. And immediately it pops out the car fails to select accept a gear change until the car comes to halt after jerking for a while and restart the car after a while.

Scan for codes first, however wehave no info on these cars. As we are U.S. Based.

You still have to scan for codes or have a trans guy do it for you
