Hi,
I'm just wondering if you need to drop the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump in a 2006 captiva? Or can it be done via moving the backseat and accessing it through there?
Any advice much appreciated. Our car did the fuel tank 7 hours from home and we are relying on the local mechanic here, who's opinion greatly differs from our mechanic at home's opinion.
Cheers

Hello,

Yes this car is the same as a Chevy Equinox. You will need to drop the tank. Here are some diagrams and a guide that will give you an idea on what you are in for when changed the fuel pump.
