I have a bad transmission solenoid a friend said his code tester came up with po772 solenoid e stuck open. But when I look it up it sounds like my a solenoid is bad. Confused

A code never identifies bad parts just failed systems.

You need to check wiring before assuming anything.

Have someone who actually works at a shop verify this for you
