We are looking to buy a ford F150 2006. It idles rough and we are being told this is normal. Is that true or is there a problem. It is a 4.6L

Does it have a check engine light and when was it last tune-up? 2.8mil a lot of miles-You sure you want to buy it?

Try cleaning out the idle air control valve, PCV and EGR valves and clean the MAF sensor with an electronic cleaner CRC and see what happens

Sorry, to many 000 it has 28,000 mile. There was no check engine light. Anything past an idle is really smooth.

So what's going on with it at this time-is it still misfiring/running rough. Might want to visit this link of ours and read more is to what can cause a misfire/running rough.
