Started to tremble then stopped running

Van started to tremble then stopped running after that happened a little red light appeared what does it mean and what can I do to fix it please help can it be because of the battery its not working do I have to buy a new battery I dent know much about cars and really need some expert advice please help me and thank you so much hope you guys can help

Not sure what the red light is without knowing more info. However, it is possible that the battery went dead and caused the engine to stall. What you really need to do is have the battery tested at a local parts store. Most will do it for free. Once you have done that, then you will know the next step. Let me know what you find.
