My car stopped working and it won't start. Help?

I am driving a 2006 dodge grand caravan and it just didnt start and made a clicking noise. I hired a mechnic to fix it and he replaced the altanator and it worked again. A month later it stopped working again! I dont know anything about cars and I need to get to work. I need to have this fixed. Please help.

Sorry, but we can't fix it over a computer. Go back to the same shop so they can check their work. There could be a problem with the new alternator or there could be some other problem that got overlooked. If the starter is making a single rather loud clunk each time you turn the ignition switch to "crank", the starter itself could be the problem, not the alternator.
