Engine oil pressure light comes on?

How much money will it cost to repair? No leakage noted in my driveway but no oil when I checked the dipstick. I did put 1 and a half bottles of oil in it so I can get it to the shop but how expensive could it be to repair?

Hi there,

This will depend on where the problem is. If the rigs are worn, it may need a re bore and a piston kit, basically you will need to do the entire engine. I would ask for a quote to install a re co engine This will give you an idea as what to budget for. Round figures. Allow a bit extra foe radiator, hoses, and a starter O/haul as these will not normally be covered. See if it is in your budget, and make your decision
