Just bought a 2005 Honda Accord Vtec. I have taken it back twice as steering is pulling to the left on long straight roads but also pulls left and right when driving around busy town roads. The first time the garage changed the rear brake pads, did the wheel alignment and put the incorrect air pressure in the tyres at their own admittance which was corrected they tell me when it went in the second time. However the pulling is still there although not quite as bad as before. Can something else be causing this problem or should I find another garage to do the wheel alignment? Also I believe it was taken to a Ford garage for repairs and not a Honda garage so could it also mean that perhaps genuine parts are not being used and leading to these problems. Thanks.

I think that they are not doing a good job of alignment, take it to a place that uses computers to align, most places do, but there are still some that dont. You could also have a bad tie rod or ball joints, but they should know this. Take it to a different garage, and a front end alignment should cost much, definitely under a hundred dollars.
