My 2005 Sierra has a howling sound when I reduce my speed. It starts around 50mph down to 40mph.

I have checked my transmision fluid and and the level is good.
I noticed yesturday when I am driving at 50mph you can here the howling a little bit. But when I reduce my speed from 65mph the noise is very loud between 50 and 40.

Check your axle fluid first, then check your wheel bearings. If you can find an area to drive in a circle drive to teh left and if the noise is on the right side it may be a wheel bearing on that side. Then drive right and vice versa
