I've changed the blower fan, resister, control knob and switch, checked the fuses and switched out relays. Still can't get A/C to work. If you run a ground from the purple wire going to the blower motor it kicks on.

Good afternoon,

I would check for power to the blower resistor at the purple wire. See if you have battery voltage there.

If you have power then it could be a bad resistor even though it is new.

What's your take on the purple ground wire being spliced? When I run a wire from the spliced purple wire going to blower motor to the chassis it starts working great? Without out that wire nothing works. I can't test it currently. But I will. If that's bad will the blower completely stop?

The purple is the ground for the system. Power is provided to the blower motor from the other wire. The ground goes through the motor, blower resistor and to ground.
