My trail blazer started to rev a little higher and I thought I needed a tune up so I got an oil change, a total tranny flush, air filter and new spark pluges. My trail blazer then started to lunge repeatedly when I was acclerating from 60km to 100km. I also checked the fule pressure and it is good, it is suppose to be between 55 to 60 and mine was at 58. I wasnt sure what was going on but I looked at the throutle control body it was extremely dirty and I went out bought the cleaner and cleaned it. Things got worse now it is is reving at 4000rpms at 100km and really lunging forward and my cruise controll isnt working! What is worse no sensor light or check engine light isnt coming up, any ideas? Catalac converter? Throtle control body? Coils? Front tranny pump?

You may need the throttle body replaced it also may be due to tranny flush causing the lunging. Have a local pro look at this as there may be a vacuum leak someplace onit.

It won't back up now too, does that help narrow the field?
